Farm Animals & Small Holder

Sheep, Goats, Cattle, Poultry, Camelids, etc.

Our farm veterinary surgeons are able to see all types of farm animals, from pet goats to large commercial suckler herds.

As well as understanding the practicalities and economics of commercial farming our veterinary surgeons also have compassion and experience in dealing with pet farm animals too.

  • Routine flock and herd health planning
    • Each individual plan is tailored to suit the farm or small holding and the needs of the stockpersons. Reviewed annually these plans are essential to minimise the effect of disease and maintain profitability
  • Routine fertility visits for pregnancy diagnosis, synchronisation…
  • Bull and ram fertility examinations and testing as a routine examination or when poor fertility is suspected
  • Routine surgery such as castrating and dehorning
  • Game birds
  • Emergency surgery

  • Post mortems
  • Evening seasonal seminars for example our popular lambing courses.

We are able to examine small ruminants and poultry at the practice. We are members of 'The Chicken Vet' (a great resource for information and poultry products).

For visits, medication orders, and more information please call Cindy Brandon, our large animal secretary.
