At the Lady Dane Veterinary Centre we have always prided ourselves, not only on the quality of our practice, our staff and our everyday work, but also on the work conducted late into the night, in the early mornings and at weekends and bank holidays.

Until December 2006 the Lady Dane Veterinary Centre was staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, the current and forthcoming European Working Time Directives, which will limit all employees to a 48 hour working week, inclusive of 'on call' hours, meant that our 24/7 operation was no longer sustainable.

Providing the best care to our clients is, and always will be, our priority. Our pet & companion out-of-hours service is now provided by a dedicated team of specialist emergency professionals who ONLY provide night time and weekend / bank holiday services :

Farm Animal and Horse Services
For our farm animal and equine clients we will still be on a call to provide you with 24 hour care. However, Vets Now are going to be providing a new answering service for us. Therefore, in an emergency, we ask that you call the practice as normal from whence you will be directed to the Vets Now emergency service. The team at Vets Now will take your details and ARRANGE FOR OUR FARM AND EQUINE DUTY VET TO CALL YOU BACK
