To ensure your pet's continued good health we recommend that an Evergreen Club check is carried out annually.

This article is only relevant if your pet is 7 years of age or more

We have always felt it important that a clinical examination is given at the time of booster vaccinations. As your pet ages, we are able to offer her or him a more 'in depth' examination and ideally further tests should be performed to identify the earliest signs of possible disease which can start as young as 7 years in dogs and cats, and even younger in giant breeds of dogs.

Early diagnosis of certain conditions can make a great difference to your pet's longevity and quality of life.

Our Evergreen Club includes :

1. a health questionnaire for you to complete
2. an inspection by one of our veterinary nurses
3. a clinical examination by one of our veterinary surgeons
4. a urine test to rule out urinary disease and diabetes
5. a blood test to rule out kidney, liver and some digestive diseases
6. a blood test to rule out anaemia and some forms of cancer
7. a blood pressure measurement for early diagnosis of heart and eye problems
8. a discharge consultation with one of our veterinary surgeons
9. a written report of all our findings and recommendations

We would be able to offer you all this for only £49.00 (payable at the time of booking).

We hope that your pet will succesfully pass these tests. However, if they would suggest any potential problems we will be able to discuss all future options and recommendations at the discharge consultation.
